Informed Consent

The Journal of Marine Engineering and Aquatic Sciences (JMEAS) requires research involving human participants to respect their rights, privacy, dignity, and autonomy and to comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional or national regulations.

If a manuscript contains identifiable images (e.g., an individual’s face) or personal information that could reveal an individual’s identity, authors must obtain informed consent for publication from the individual concerned or, where appropriate, their legally authorized representative. A completed Consent for Publication Form must be provided upon request as evidence that appropriate consent has been obtained.
